Hi there.

I'm Austin, and I created Flawless Media out of a mixture of frustration and love. In the summer of 2022, I wanted to digitize and restore the VHS tapes my mother and father recorded from my early childhood. These tapes contained absolutely priceless memories - everything from the breathless laughter of my brother and I as we tumbled down plastic slides in our backyard to our old dog, Zola, keeping watch over us as infants.

Having worked with digital video for almost a decade and a half, I wanted to capture every bit of detail I could from these family heirlooms. So I searched for a digitizing company that would meet my capture standards, including capturing to a lossless video format so I could handle the editing myself.

I couldn't find a single one.

After a bit of research, and writing a custom capture solution from scratch based off of my Computer Science Master's Thesis from a decade prior, I had proof of concept that fit my needs perfectly.

I didn't realize it at the time, but this was the seed that would later sprout into Flawless Media a few years later.

I created Flawless because I wanted to leverage my expertise and (totally healthy) obsession with quality for all of my customers to benefit.
